Parameters

All the meat-type chick cages are stereoscopic cages. The cage structure and breeding density are similar to those of pullet cages. Some farms adopt plane nets. Brooding cages are usually used for chicks younger than 140 days. Such cages usually include 3-4 lapped storeys. The total length is subject to the breeding scale. The feet of the cage frame are 100-150 mm high. Each cage is 700-1000 mm long, 300-400 mm high and 400-500 mm deep. The cage mesh is rectangular or square. The aperture of the bottom net is 12.5 mm. The aperture of the side net and the top net is 25 mm. The cage door is set on the front side. The cage door clearance may vary from 20-35 mm. Each cage can contain about 30 chicks. The overall width is 1.6-1.7 m.
