Laying cages are usually used during the period from the 141 days of laying hens to the end of laying. Each cage is 400 mm long and 450 mm deep. The front side is 450 mm high, the rear side is 380 mm high, and the gradient of the cage bottom is 7.5°. The cage door is set on the front side. The column spacing of the cage bottom mesh is 22 mm, the row spacing is 60 mm. The aperture of the top net and the rear net varies significantly, but can be controlled flexibly. The aperture of side nets had better be 25-30 mm high and 40-50 mm wide. Such meshes can prevent mutual pecking of chickens in different cages. Each cage contains 3-4 chickens. The cage is 1.7 m high. The door is 210-240 mm wide.
